What I read this week: Platform Decay by Martha Wells (oh, Murderbot, how I’ve missed you!), Keep a Quiet Heart by Elisabeth Elliot, The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom (this book is amazing!).

May 17 | Sunday - Took a break after a busy weekend.
Total word count: 0 words

May 18 | Monday - Things were zipping today! Whirled through several chapters and felt really excited to be writing! A good story makes all the difference.
Total word count: 4,078 words

May 19 | Tuesday - Pumped to be on pace yet again today. Some words were repurposed from the previous version but it was so heavily edited I’m counting it all. Besides, it counts up to the new total, so that’s words added to me!
Total word count: 4,069 words

May 20 | Wednesday - Things are just cracking along. I’m borrowing from what I wrote before but not as much as I would have hoped. I am trying to keep up a pace of 4k a day so I can potentially finish the rough draft by next Friday!

May 21 | Thursday - Lost a bit of steam today - but design work has to get done too!
Total word count: 704 words

May 22 | Friday - Not many words but I was actually editing, so 4 chapters down!
Total word count: 218 words | 4 chapters edited

May 23 | Saturday - Ugh. Got a migraine and wasn’t able to write. Boo!
Total word count: 0 words

Current projects I’m aiming to work on:

Of Sea and Starlight (OSAS): Mermaids in space novella (nearly completed). Current Status: 31,993/42,000 words

Project Arrow: Secret project I’m not at liberty to share about yet.
Current Status: 19,055/ 49,000 words

Dragons in Space (DIS): YA Science Fantasy series. Aiming to release new episodes weekly starting in April so trying to write ahead. (Read for free here.)
Current Status: 7 episodes/~16 episodes (for the first season)
